Welcome to Nitrox, the best way to maximize your underwater time SAFELY. Nitrox is nothing more than air with an extra dose of oxygen added to it. By increasing the percentage of oxygen in the scuba tank, the nitrogen percentage drops. Scuba 101 Review: It's nitrogen that causes the Bends or Decompression Sickness. To avoid the Bends, you must shorten your dive times to stay out of decompression limits. Many people confuse Nitrox with a deep gas like Tri-Mix. It is quite the opposite. Nitrox works best on mid-range dives of 60-110ft in fact it cannot be used for deep dives.

Air = 35 minutes

Certification: Upon completion, you'll receive a certification card, both plastic and digitally. Dives: Nitrox certification is classroom only. No water work is required. |

Date: Start anytime. Once we've received your payment an E-learning code will be sent to you within 24 hours. Cost: $149 Textbook: You do not need to purchase a textbook. A PDF textbook is included in the price of the course. as well as the online learning code. Families cannot share the code. It is one per person. Hands On Learning of Tank Analysis: Yes Whenever it is convenient, stop into SASS to receive one-on-one tutoring on tank analysis.
